Many Professionals perceive Reinsurance is particular to be a "old mans" job, not considering that continuous innovations can take place in this industry as well and the pivotal role that the youth of today can play, and are possibly playing. Reinsurance Broking is perceived to be picking up with more than 65 licensed brokers, who are licensed to carry out the activity in India. From my very childhood, having a " insurance friendly" environment from the beginning, to now, I have realized, that there is as much space for newer ideas, diverse magnitudes and continuous experimentation as is in the various other sectors which we consider as " novae". I am a great believer, that if disruption can happen in every other industry globally in inventing the various methods in which the business can be done, the same can happen in Reinsurance Broking, and we at Limitless are happy to be one amongst the many change agents of the revolution in this sphere. Young professionals from all sectors in the BFSI or ITES should explore working closely and strongly in Reinsurance, as with the immense growth in Mass Insurance Schemes, Reinsurance requirements in India is only going to get larger.
